Below you will find all information regarding shipping methods and estimated delivery times for orders placed on www.ferrantinet.com.
Shipping costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight, volume of the goods and the delivery destination.
- European Union (EU): shipping costs are shown during checkout, after account registration.
- Minor islands and special areas: a transport surcharge always applies. In these cases, you must contact us to confirm the costs before shipment.
- Switzerland, free zones, non-EU countries and rest of the world: shipping costs are not calculated automatically. You must contact us to receive a personalised quotation.
Order processing times
Online orders: orders are generally processed within 1–2 business days from receipt of payment, except for custom-made or personalised products, or during periods of high workload.
Orders based on quotation: the processing times indicated in the accepted quotation shall apply.
Once the order has been shipped, the customer will receive an email from the carrier with the tracking number. The carrier will contact the recipient to schedule the delivery.
Estimated delivery times
The delivery times indicated below are estimated and may vary depending on destination, carrier and logistical or customs factors.
- European Union (EU): approximately 10–15 business days from shipment.
- Non-EU countries and rest of the world: delivery times vary depending on the destination country and are indicated during the quotation phase.
Deliveries generally take place Monday to Friday during business hours, by appointment arranged with the carrier.
Delivery method
Delivery is carried out at street level, at a point accessible to the delivery vehicle, using trucks equipped with a tail lift for handling bulky goods.
Delivery to upper floors and porterage services are never included.
Any additional services agreed directly between the customer and the carrier remain outside the responsibility of Ferranti srl unipersonale.
Accessibility of the delivery location
The customer is responsible for informing us, before shipment, of any access limitations, including:
- restricted traffic areas;
- prohibitions for heavy vehicles;
- narrow roads, steep slopes or difficult manoeuvring conditions;
- incorrect or incomplete delivery addresses.
If such information is not provided, any additional costs, storage fees, failed delivery attempts or re-delivery charges may be charged to the customer.
Recipient availability
The customer must ensure telephone availability to allow the carrier to arrange delivery. Providing at least two valid phone numbers is recommended.
In the event of:
- recipient being unreachable;
- absence at the agreed delivery time;
- incorrect or incomplete information;
- change of address not previously agreed;
any storage, return, re-delivery or route variation costs will be charged to the customer.
Non-EU shipments: customs duties and charges
For shipments outside the European Union, any customs duties, local VAT, taxes and customs clearance fees are always borne by the recipient and are not included in the product price or shipping costs.
Packaging
Goods are packed using suitable materials to ensure protection during transport, including:
